China's national standard GDl78401999 divides bulletproof glass into bulletproof glass for automobiles and bulletproof glass for automobiles. GBl7840 stipulates the test methods and requirements for bulletproof performance, other performance adopts GB9656 automotive safety glass and GB9962 laminated glass corresponding provisions, size, appearance quality and compatibility adopt the inspection methods specified in the corresponding provisions of GB/T17340-1998. At present, there is no corresponding standard for anti-theft glass in China. Application of bulletproof (anti-theft) glass:
(1) Application occasions
Bulletproof glass is mainly used in the following areas:

(3) Installation of bulletproof glass
When installing bulletproof glass, the following factors should be considered.
① The gap between the glass and the support frame: generally should not be less than 5mm, in order to avoid the glass due to thermal expansion, resulting in stress concentration and glass rupture.
② The installation direction of the glass: the thicker side should be the impact surface.
When overlapped, the overlap should not be less than 50mm, because the side of the bulletproof glass is a weak link, too little overlap, and the bullet may penetrate the glass or produce a larger splash.
